Questionnaire regarding my double page spread article.

I decided to do a quick questionnaire regarding my double page spread article. I asked people who fall into my target audience to answer the questionnaire. This helped me to have an overview of what to write about in my article.

Some of the other pictures I took with an SLR camera of my artists where I tried a variety of shots and different poses. I tried to be careful to think about music based mise-en-scene paying particular attention to the setting, make up, costume, model’s expression and also extra props.

Chnage of magazine name from 'Music Is Alive' to 'VOLUME'

I have decided to change my music magazines name from Music Is Alive to Volume because MIA (Music Is Alive) is already a known artists within the industry. As well as MIA would have had a appropriate meaning for my magazine but I think it would have caused confusions between the artist and the my magazine. The reason why I wanted my magazine to be called ‘Volume’ instead was because I believe volume has a good sense of meaning which matches music. Having researched in dictionary.com volume is defined to be “the control on a radio, etc, for adjusting the intensity of sound”

I have chosen to name my magazine volume because I believe we hear a lot of variety of sounds in our day to day lives which vary from the screeching sound from a door to the breaking sound of a Van. But I personally believe that the best sound of volume is music as it helps people express their feelings that they cannot with words.
